Associate or Senior Associate - Commercial Real Estate Senior Solicitor

Join a busy commercial real estate team dealing with the full range of commercial property matters. This role offers the opportunity to support diverse clients including PLCs, SMEs, and High Net Worth individuals across Scotland and the whole of the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters including purchases, sales, leasing, and banking transactions with appropriate supervision
- Advise clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions, providing high quality, practical advice that considers both technical and commercial considerations
- Conduct title examination and reporting, conveyancing and Land Registration, LBTT Returns, coordinate settlements and completions
- Negotiate missives, leases, and commercial property related documents
- Correspond with clients, other solicitors, and liaise with Counsel and relevant intermediaries including surveyors, property agents, and accountants
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, demonstrating professional conduct and confidence
- Support business development initiatives to attract additional business from new and existing clients
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct while delivering against agreed fee earning targets
- Participate in team meetings and support internal procedures and systems including case management and time recording
- Maintain continuing professional development activities in line with Law Society of Scotland requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree level education in Law with Practicing Certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland
- Genuine interest in the commercial property sector with desire to build on existing legal and sector knowledge
- Good technical skills and commercial awareness
- Strong client-focused approach with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Demonstrates initiative and motivation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good experience with Microsoft Office
