We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager (Civil) to lead the civil scope of high-rise construction projects. The role focuses on structural works, substructure, and superstructure execution, ensuring alignment with design, safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all civil and structural aspects of high-rise construction (excavation, foundations, concrete works, core structures, slabs, etc.)
• Oversee site execution for substructure and superstructure works, including deep foundations (piling, raft foundations)
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers, consultants, and design teams
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
• Manage construction schedules, ensuring milestones for structural works are achieved
• Monitor and control project budgets related to civil works
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards
• Identify risks in civil execution and implement mitigation strategies
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Coordinate with MEP and finishing teams to ensure smooth integration with structural works
• Lead progress meetings and provide reports to senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 12–18+ years of experience in construction, with strong focus on high-rise civil/structural works
• Proven experience in managing large-scale tower projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
• Strong expertise in:
  • Reinforced concrete structures
  • High-rise core systems (shear walls, cores)
  • Foundation systems (piling, raft foundations)
• Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodology for vertical construction
• Excellent leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural or Construction Engineering
• Professional certifications (PMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent)
• Experience working on UAE/GCC high-rise projects
• Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools
